The Nuggets knotted the series at 2-2 by defeating the Timberwolves 115-107 at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

After gaining the lead late in the first quarter, the Nuggets never trailed again, leading by as many as 18 points throughout the game.

Edwards and Murray were both observed chirping when the final buzzer rang.

During his postgame press conference, the Timberwolves’ star was asked about what he told Murray. Edwards stated that he asked Murray to keep the trash talk on high.

“I just told him, ‘We love that.'” Keep chatting. That’s what we like. “Well, I love it,” Edwards told journalists. “He didn’t say anything back, but I believe he heard me. They heard me. “We live for that.”

Edwards led the game with 44 points, shooting 16 of 25 from the field. But he didn’t receive much assistance from his teammates. No other Timberwolves player scored more than 15 points during the loss.

Nikola Jokic gave the Nuggets an MVP-caliber performance, scoring 35 points, grabbing seven rebounds, and dishing seven assists. Aaron Gordon had a near-perfect shooting performance, scoring 27 points on 11-of-12 shots. Murray recorded 19 points and eight assists.
