Dr Rajpal Brar has reported that Nathan Patterson, the defender for Everton, will miss the matches against Nottingham Forest and Liverpool
This occurs after he sustained an injury in the 6-0 loss to Chelsea, which Sean Dyche stated is a “high grade” hamstring setback requiring surgery.
On Sunday, April 21, the Toffees play a relegation six-point match against Forest. On April 24, they go across town to Anfield to play Liverpool.
Physical therapist and sports scientist Brar, who spoke exclusively to Goodison News, stated the following regarding Patterson:
“There were concerns at the time, and Patterson looks to have suffered a very serious injury against Chelsea.”
It’s awful for him that he may miss the EUROs, according to reports.
“This appears to be a serious injury, and even in the best situation, he will undoubtedly miss the upcoming games.
Scan results have provided some light on the situation and confirmed the potential that he may require surgery.
Nathan Patterson might not return to Everton this season.
As of right now, the severity of his setback remains unknown, therefore the team will have to play it by ear.
In the best of circumstances, though, he will be sidelined for the next three weeks, which will compound Sean Dyche’s problems this season.
For Everton, Nathan Patterson has only played a supporting role.
The severity of the injury is yet unknown, but Seamus Coleman and Ben Godfrey will have to share the weight at right-back in his absence.
In other Everton news, following the Chelsea defeat, a veteran player may never start for the team again and is now quite certain to depart in June.
