Badgers make the final four for Georgia Bulldogs transfer center Frank Anselem-Ibe.
The Badgers could make their final transfer sooner rather than later.
ESPN’s Jeff Borzello reported on Friday that the Wisconsin Badgers have advanced to the final four for Georgia Bulldogs transfer Frank Anselem-Ibe.
Anselem-Ibe, a 6’10, 215-pound center from Nigeria, will make his decision on Tuesday, with Georgia Tech, Louisville, North Carolina State, and Wisconsin as his four options.
Anselem-Ibe, a four-star recruit in the Class of 2020, has one year of eligibility remaining and will be attending his third school following two years at Syracuse and Georgia.
Last season, Anselem-Ibe averaged 2.6 points and 2.1 rebounds in 9.1 minutes per game, shooting 62.5 percent from the floor and making three starts.
The Badgers have looked for a backup center for Steven Crowl at the transfer portal as their most recent addition, hoping to round out their squad with another big.
They’ve been linked to McCook Community College transfer center Noah Boyed, who has now made the final Anselem-Ibe roster, indicating that they’ll get their last player sooner rather than later.
