The Detroit Lions NFL draft selection has revealed his 2024 jersey number.
Although the Detroit Lions have not yet formally revealed the jersey numbers that their rookies will wear in 2024, one of them has revealed some information. Christian Mahogany, a guard selected in the sixth round by the Lions, is one of the most well-known athletes Detroit selected in the 2024 NFL Draft, albeit it wasn’t entirely his fault.
When discussing the toughness and play style of his rookie linemen, general manager Brad Holmes cited a famous quotation. Holmes remarked, “He’s got some dirtbag in him.” “He’s one of these Jersey kids who doesn’t take a lot of crap.”
The offensive lineman known as “dirtbag” from the Lions just revealed his uniform number to us via Twitter: “73,” which was also his college number.
He then shared this post from “NFL Jersey Numbers” on X to further corroborate the jersey number. Guard Jonah Jackson was the final Lions player to wear No. 73 until he signed a free agent contract this summer to play with the Los Angeles Rams. Mahogany has adopted the term “dirtbag” wholeheartedly; on X, he even changed his name to match Holmes’ description.
The Boston College graduate will now concentrate on acclimating to the NFL. He will have the opportunity to do so for the first time on May 10 during rookie minicamp.
