Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has hit out at the length of time Nottingham Forest are having to wait for the outcome of their appeal hearing over their points deduction. The Reds were back in front of an independent commission last Wednesday as they challenged their four-point deduction for breaching financial rules. They are still waiting to discover if they have been successful in getting any points back.

Although there isn’t a deadline for the hearing’s decision, Forest had anticipated hearing back within a week. Nuno has always been eager to see the situation resolved as quickly as possible because they have been plagued by the drama since they were accused of violating the Profitability and Sustainability Rules in January.
