In an attempt to minimize damage, Marc Marquez turned down a last-minute bicycle setup.

Despite rocking Marquez and breaking his bike, the incident with Pramac’s Morbidelli gave him more motivation.
According to Michael Laverty’s analysis on TNT Sports, “this pushed him into action.”

When the direction changes again, Enea Bastianini passes him. He battles at the top of the slope, back on Enea, even with his airbag deployed.

“It feels pretty uncomfortable when it goes off. It was going to hurt.
You feel extremely constricted and are unable to breathe due to the inflated airbag on your arms, sides, and back.

Laverty went on, “Marc is a masochist; he acts immediately upon experiencing pain.” He is very remarkable.
Guintoli declared: “There is no giving up.” Everything that could go wrong did go wrong: he was unable to reach Q2, beginning from 13th, and there were numerous technical issues, a crash, an injury, and traffic on the circuit.

But it was the first time Marquez had not won a MotoGP grand prix at the Sachsenring in his nine starts.
In the MotoGP standings, he sits third, 56 points adrift of the new leader, Bagnaia.

It’s be here and be first in every practice – these are unrealistic expectations because, of course, we’re on a circuit where I’ve won a lot in the past, but now it’s the present, and there are two riders who, especially in the last few races from Montmeló, have increased their speed and I’ve been unable to keep up with them. So, yeah, I went on the second step because they were just getting quicker and faster.
