Albion reached the Championship play-off semi-finals last season, losing to Southampton in two legs, but their chances of boosting the team this summer for another promotion drive are now in risk.

West Brom’s lone transfer fee thus far has been £500,000 for Swedish central defender Torbjorn Heggem. Devante Cole, 29, has joined at the Hawthorns on a free transfer from Barnsley.
