MICHAEL Schumacher’s security guard allegedly attempted to sell images of the icon following his terrible ski accident in a £12 million blackmail scheme.
On Thursday, the public prosecutor’s office detained Markus F, 52, of Wülfrath, as the main offender of the suspected extortion attempt against the Schumacher family.

In a stunning twist, Markus F was a ‘trusted’ security specialist who worked for the F1 legend’s family a few years ago.
He is now accused of arranging the blackmail that threatened to expose photographs of seven-time world champion Schumacher in the years following his skiing tragedy in December 2013.
The family had kept the champion racing driver’s health a secret for years, which the images would have revealed.
Markus F allegedly committed the horrible crime in order to clear his obligations.

He allegedly attempted to sell the photos to the media for two years prior.
The mastermind is claimed to have hired bouncer Yilmaz T, 53, of Wuppertal, to carry out the blackmail.
Markus F is accused of converting private family photos into digital files, which were then transferred to Yilmaz T and his son.
Yilmaz T, 53, and his son Daniel L, 30, were arrested together and reportedly informed police they were operating on Markus F’s behalf.
