In advance of Sunday’s game against Manchester City, Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer have rendered their opinions over Nottingham Forest’s Premier League relegation struggle.
The Reds have four games left, starting against Pep Guardiola’s champions at the City Ground today at 4:30 p.m., just one spot and one point above the drop zone in 17th place.
Lineker emphasized that Forest must expeditiously settle their appeal against their four-point deduction for violating Premier League financial rules, and Shearer thinks Nuno Espirito Santo’s team is “in the driving seat” to survive, ahead of Luton Town and Burnley, who are currently in 18th and 19th place in the standings.
