The video game EA Sports College Football 25 launched on Monday, after more than ten years of anticipation.
Last week, EA Sports College Football 25 revealed their list of the top 100 players, which included two players from the OU football program.
In the video game that comes out on July 19, veteran defensive returners linebacker Danny Stutsman and defensive back Billy Bowman Jr. were listed as the No. 52 and No. 94 players, respectively. Stutsman received an overall rating of 91, while Bowman received a rating of 90.
Stutsman scored 81, 91, 78, 97, and 88 in terms of speed, acceleration, awareness, and jump. In the game, Bowman has impressive numbers: 94 speed, 97 acceleration, 65 strength, 88 awareness, and 93 jump.
According to the rankings, Stutsman is the second-best middle linebacker in the game, behind Jay Higgins of Iowa, while Bowman is the fourth-best strong safety. 29 athletes ranked in the top 100 belong to the Southeastern Conference.

Two of the three Sooner players who will represent the team at SEC Media Days on Tuesday in Dallas are Bowman and Stutsman.

Rankings for the OU football team College Football 25 by EA
Ranking: 17th overall with an overall rating of 87, OU is one of the top 25 teams in EA Sports College Football 25. The No. 1 Georgia Gators, No. 4 Alabama Gators, No. 5 Texas Longhorns, No. 8 LSU Gators, No. 14 Texas A&M Gators, and No. 15 Mississippi Gators are the six SEC teams beneath the Sooners.
OU also boasts the game’s No. 12-ranked defense and No. 23-ranked offense.
According to EA Sports College Football 25, Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, home of the Sooners, is the eighth-toughest venue to play. The rankings of OU’s home stadium were below those of Texas A&M’s Kyle Field, Wisconsin’s Camp Randall Stadium, Alabama’s Bryant-Denny Stadium, LSU’s Tiger Stadium, Georgia’s Sanford Stadium, Ohio State’s Ohio Stadium, and Penn State’s Beaver Stadium.
In previous editions of the game, rankings were subject to change. The game took into account historical factors including home winning percentage, home game attendance, active home winning streaks, team prestige, and more. With 152 home sellouts, the Sooners hold the second-longest streak in NCAA football. The stadium, also referred to as the “Palace on the Prairie,” can accommodate 80,126 people.
In 2024, Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium will commemorate its a century of football.
