Jorge Martin released a warning regarding Aprilia’s “DNA.”
It has been emphasized to Jorge Martin that when he moves to Aprilia, he will need to adapt to a new “DNA.”
Next year, Pramac rider Martin will have the chance to move the Ducati #1 plate to Aprilia.
He signed with their Italian rivals after missing out on a promotion to the factory Ducati squad.
However, he will have to make a significant adjustment.
Maverick Vinales, an Aprilia rider currently, compared the two bikes, saying, “[Ducati] do the corners in less meters.”
This is one feature of our bicycle. We must be more fluid.
“They have greater acuity. They make a difference when you turn completely around in a 180-degree corner.
“In actuality, you lose in the meters to the turn, even if it feels like you lose on acceleration. That’s where we fall short.
Neil Hodgson of TNT Sports said, “Excellent depiction. With a bird’s eye perspective, he battles Ducatis for the entire race. It’s challenging for the bikers on Aprilia.
With a Ducati, you can shoot and aim more, attacking the corner more frequently, increasing your speed and gaining time.
However, the Ducati turns, believe it or not. It has always been the Ducati’s weak point.
“It turns more at the corner’s crucial point, and then you shoot it out.
So that he can’t brake as late, [Vinales] needs to employ more sweeping lines.
“You have to go around, and then a somewhat faster Ducati in the center of the corner blocks you.
“On the Aprilia, you are closer to the tire’s edge. It’s the object of his conflict.
In response, Sylvain Guintoli said, “It’s a part of the bike’s DNA.” Every track has the same situation.
It’s a benefit on some tunes. The Aprilia does a great job navigating tight turns.
“The halt and proceed? Better still, the Ducati does it.
Last weekend at the Sachsenring, Martin, riding the GP24 Ducati this year, lost the lead in the MotoGP championship and finished in second place.
He trails curre
nt leader and champion Pecco Bagnaia by ten points.

Pramac Asserts Carlo Pernat, Eyeing Andrea Iannone for Spectacular MotoGP Comeback!
Andrea Iannone made a comeback to the Superbike World Championship this year, riding a Ducati for Team GoEleven. Due to his impressive results, there are even discussions about his possible comeback to MotoGP in 2025 with Prima Pramac Racing. Paolo Campinoti, the team owner, hasn’t completely ruled out a test.
After five years away from the top class, rider manager Carlo Pernat told MOW Mag that he thinks the Pramac leader would actually want to bring Iannone on board, although there is some doubt regarding the rider’s level:
I think Campinoti will want to give working with Andrea Iannone a go, particularly if Ducati decides to extend Álvaro Bautista’s contract with the factory Superbike squad. After all these years, I’m not sure how competitive someone can be when getting back on a MotoGP bike, but I know Andrea well enough to say that she can prove me wrong if anybody can.
Given the difficulties in setting up a test with Iannone, Pernat thinks Pramac might hold onto a spot for a while: “I think it will take some time because it is not very simple to organize a test with a rider who is under contract with another manufacturer from the standpoint of the issues that arise on paper.” This implies that if things with Iannone don’t work out, there may be an opening at Pramac until the very last minute. If that happens, it will, if needed, go to a young rider Yamaha really loves.
Iannone, who debuted in the MotoGP with Pramac in 2013, is a highly valued rider for Campinoti. After that, in 2015, he advanced to Ducati after working for Suzuki and Aprilia. He has always maintained his innocence about the doping issue that led him to exit the tournament at the conclusion of 2019.
