During Wimbledon practice, Novak Djokovic stunned the crowd with an incredible revelation about Nick Kyrgios
Boston’s dominance on Friday night wasn’t their only 20-13 showing of the year. Back in June, the former Gamecock defeated the Atlanta Dream with a score of 27 points and 13 rebounds.
Next weekend, Boston, who is just in her second season in the league, will participate in her second WNBA All-Star Game. She will play against A’ja Wilson and Allisha Gray, another former USC standout, in the match between Team USA (Wilson’s squad) and the other WNBA All-Star Game players.
Additionally, Kyrgios and Djokovic had another practice session this week following their practice session over the weekend. In response to a question concerning it, Djokovic stated that he thought Kyrgios’s intensity and ball hitting were fairly decent and that he was hoping the 29-year-old Australian would have a successful return.
“I can tell you yesterday when we practiced, he (Kyrgios) hit a really good serve, and he said, ‘Well, I might come back at the US Open,'” Djokovic added.
“I’m not sure if he was making a joke about it, but I can assure you that he is hitting the ball as well as ever.
“He is incredibly gifted. He plays tennis very well. He may have mentioned that his wrist pain is primarily bothering him when serving, but he has been increasing the weight, the intensity, and the speed. While he’s not aiming for a full speed or full strength serve, he’s getting there.
“I personally hope he can return, and I believe the entire tennis community hopes he can return soon, as we will undoubtedly miss him on the tour.”
Djokovic on further observations he made while working with Kyrgios
Not only did Djokovic observe that Kyrgios was hitting well on the practice court, but he also noticed that the Australian was beaming and full of life. And that was something the 37-year-old Serb found really pleasing.
He has a lot of optimism. It’s good to see him so vibrant and alive. He is ecstatic to be at Wimbledon, taking in the drills and providing commentary. He is a man of great importance to our sport. I think he attracts new admirers,” Djokovic continued.
Kyrgios said in a recent interview with Australian media that ten months prior, he was surreptitiously admitted to a hospital and underwent a covert operation by a renowned wrist surgeon. In addition to revealing that he was terrified for his future due of the excruciating pain in his wrist, Kyrgios also mentioned that he was having trouble opening his car’s handle.
However, the procedure went well, and he is now getting ready to play tennis again following an extremely significant and intricate wrist injury.
What did Kyrgios say following his Djokovic practice?
In an emotional Instagram post from last weekend, Kyrgios said he was “almost brought to tears” when he realized how good he was versus Djokovic and when the Serb himself informed him that he didn’t appear to have had surgery on a very significant wrist issue.
Almost a decade has passed since my grueling wrist surgery… Today was my first serious test, and the fact that I was able to perform to this level nearly brought me to tears. There were times when I thought it might not have worked out, but Novak assured me today that he couldn’t tell that I had undergone surgery. My group and I had to think back on all the times when things got difficult. We persevere “Last Saturday, Kyrgios posted on his Instagram Story.
In the meantime, Kyrgios reaffirmed his wish to play professional tennis once more while also stating that he wants to continue working as a tennis broadcaster because he has grown to enjoy it so much.
“To be honest, going future, I want to do both. Although I enjoy observing and analyzing things from here, I do miss being outside. You understand the rush it provides. Whether it’s good or horrible, I want to leave the fans with something unforgettable,” Kyrgios remarked.
“I’m in good physical condition; I practiced for two hours this morning. It’s been going well, hitting with Novak every other day. Everything is operating smoothly.
Kyrgios said he would return the following month and that he intended to play doubles when he did so prior to Wimbledon starting.
Should all go according to plan, Kyrgios might make his comeback to tennis as early as August, when the hard court season in North America begins. And if things goes well, Kyrgios might choose to participate in the August 26–starting US Open.

BRAKING NEWS: Pep Guardiola made remarkable offer by tennis star at Wimbledon after Bayern Munich plea…..
Pep Guardiola made a fantastic offer by tennis star at Wimbledon following Bayern Munich’s plea.
Pep Guardiola sat in Wimbledon’s Royal Box and, after witnessing Alexander Zverev win his third round match, was promised he could coach the German if he decided to leave football.
Alexander Zverev has expressed an interest in working with Pep Guardiola as a coach.
The Manchester City manager was in the Royal Box at Wimbledon to watch the German defeat home favourite Cam Norrie in straight sets. World No. 4 Zverev has reached multiple Grand Slam finals but has yet to cross the finish line as he seeks a historic victory.
Guardiola witnessed his dominant victory, with Zverev addressing the Catalan immediately following his on-court interview. The City manager has been in charge since 2008, with only one year out, and he remains a serial winner in England’s top flight.
He spent three seasons as head coach of Bayern Munich, where he won three Bundesliga titles and various other domestic trophies. Zverev is a Bayern Munich supporter who joked about returning to the Allianz Arena while also offering him the opportunity to become his coach.
He stated, “For me and many tennis players, it is an honor to play on this gorgeous Centre Court and in front of the Royal Box, as we had so many athletic legends today.
“When I watched Pep Guardiola, I became quite nervous for a few games. Thank you so much for attending; it is an honor to play. Last thing: Bayern Munich requires a coach. If you’re weary with football, you can instruct me on the tennis court at any time.”
Guardiola descended from the Royal Box and spoke one-on-one with Zverev thereafter. The German claimed he would be delighted to host the City manager in his box after Guardiola announced he would not be returning to Wimbledon owing to high demand for excellent seats.
The two later posed for photos after Zverev gave Guardiola one of his rackets. The German, who lost in the last French Open final to Carlos Alcaraz, will now face 13th seed Taylor Fritz in the fourth round, with a possible semi-final against Novak Djokovic if both men advance that far.
Guardiola, meanwhile, is taking a break after leading City to a record fourth consecutive Premier League title. He still has a year on his contract at the Etihad and, despite Zverev’s jokes, will not return to Munich after the club signed Vincent Kompany as manager.
