Two omitted additions
Zack Moss, the offensive back, was included in the list. After dealing Joe Mixon to the Houston Texans, the Bengals signed miss to a two-year contract in free agency. Moss just finished his greatest season as an Indianapolis Colts player in 2023, with 794 running yards and five touchdowns. In 2024, the Bengals will be depending heavily on him to handle a big burden.

Here are a few reasons Bleacher Report believes Moss may be underappreciated:

At the start of free agency, the Bengals traded running back Joe Mixon to the Houston Texans. Though Cincinnati’s recruitment of Zack Moss received significantly less notice, it was nonetheless a well publicized decision.

Moss’ arrival in Cincinnati won’t cause as much early national controversy as Barkley’s on the Philadelphia Eagles or Henry’s on the Baltimore Ravens. Moss, though, might have a significant effect on the Bengals’ 2024 season as well as the whole AFC playoff situation.”

Conversely, safety Geno Stone, who led the AFC in interceptions the previous campaign and left the Ravens in free agency to join the Bengals, was also included on the list. Stone’s arrival, combined with Vonn Bell’s, should undoubtedly aid Baltimore’s need for an upgrade at safety.

B/R made the following comments regarding Stone’s addition:

For the Bengals, adding Stone should prove to be a huge move. Although Burrow’s return will greatly benefit the offense, the defense, which struggled last season, won’t be much improved. In terms of pass defense, total defense, and points allowed, the Bengals concluded 2023 ranked 28th, 31st, and 21st, respectively. Stone can significantly strengthen the defense and do it at a reasonable cost.

Despite the fact that their arrivals have gone somewhat unnoticed, Moss and Stone are both expected to have a significant impact on Cincinnati next season.
