Alex Cooper is ready to throw the first pitch at Fenway Park after recounting his romance with Red Sox star.
The podcaster, who dated numerous professional sportsmen while playing soccer at Boston University, recently stated that she has been asked to throw the first pitch at a Red Sox game next week. ‘All of my ex-boyfriends, I’m speaking directly to you,’ Cooper wrote in an Instagram post.
The Red Sox have invited me, not you, to throw the first pitch at Fenway Park,” she continued. ‘Let’s take tequila shots and f***ing go Boston.’
Alex Cooper described her whirlwind romance with a Boston Red Sox player in 2014. She addressed the news on her most recent podcast episode, where she also discussed her whirlwind 2014 affair with an unnamed, high-profile baseball star.
The 29-year-old was a sophomore in college when she dated the pro player, fondly known as ‘Red Sox Man,’ who was 13 years her senior. The duo met at a bar after his team won the World Series, and they began a casual relationship that left Cooper wondering if the’veteran’ baseball player appreciated her. She recalled a time when he lied to her about having an early night at home before running into him at a nightclub with her pals.
Sadly, Red Sox Man was not in the mood to go out with Al and her pals after one of his games,’ she remembered on Wednesday’s episode of her podcast.
The Call Her Daddy emcee was invited to toss the first pitch at a Red Sox game.
So, my buddies and I made our own plans and decided to go to this club. Not long after arriving, none other than Red Sox Man steps through the door,” she continued. ‘[Red Sox Man] had told me “oh babe like I’m not really in the mood like I think I’m going to call it an early night like I’m just gonna order in,”‘ she claimed, ridiculing her ex-partner. Cooper stated that he was with “his teammates and a bunch of girls,” which made her ‘immediately want to throw up.’
I’m trying to make eye contact with him so he can notice me because I’m thinking he’s absolutely going to invite me over,” she continued, before admitting he ‘obviously wants nothing to do’ with her. Her response to his lack of interest was to follow him to the men’s restroom.
“If I had been thinking rationally, I would have realized the club is probably not the best place to have a conversation with someone,” she claimed. ‘[But] I’m a monster at this point, so I blacked out and focused on my mission. I proceed to follow this dude into the club’s public men’s restroom, and I just walk right in,” Cooper continued.
He’s in one of the stalls, and before he can shut the door, I shove it open and say, “We need to talk.” He whips around with his d*** in hand, completely ashamed. The duo did not go home together, but she woke up to a text from the player the next morning, prompting Cooper to conclude that’men adore eccentric’ women.
She first discussed her relationship with the sportsman on a 2021 episode of her podcast. “It was dope… I got to bring all of my buddies. We would go to the games. “It was a cool lifestyle,” she explained at the time. ‘This dude was the personification of making f***ing money while driving his f***ing Aston Martin. I’m in his penthouse after my last class, the day before I leave to practice.
Despite the benefits, Cooper admitted there were also negatives, including the fact that she was never the only woman in the image.
