Twitter responds to the Bears’ selection for Hard Knocks.

The Chicago Bears have been the topic of the offseason, and fans will see plenty more of them later this summer. On Thursday, HBO revealed that the Bears would be this year’s featured club on Hard Knocks throughout training camp. ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter was the first to break the news. The Bears, along with the New Orleans Saints and the Denver Broncos, were one of three teams that the NFL could force to participate in the event. Chairman George McCaskey has previously stated that he dislikes having the series in the building. But Chicago’s new star power, led by quarterback Caleb Williams, along with playmakers like wide receivers Keenan Allen and DJ Moore, and a developing defense, made them the clear pick. Now it’s a reality.

Camera crews will follow the Bears during training camp and the preseason, with programs airing weekly beginning August 6th. It will provide Bears fans with an unprecedented level of access to their beloved club. Needless to say, many of them were overjoyed on social media when the news broke.
