Passengers who book with Carnival Cruise Line do so because of the amenities that Carnival offers, the food, the drinks, and the entertainment. But, there are always some passengers that regardless of how much is done, are never happy. Because of this, Carnival Cruise Line has issued an adult warning and passengers are taking notice.
Many Carnival passengers follow John Heald, who is the Brand Ambassador for the company. Heald takes his time to interact with the passengers via social media, be it answering questions or even offering advice when warranted.
A recent post came from a passenger who was upset about the content at the comedy club on board the ship. The passenger, simply referred to as “L” to not make them social media fodder, was comedically issued a warning about the comedians on the ship and even given a bit of advice for future cruises.
“L”……..can I just say this please in response to your post: Being a comedian in 2025 is one heck of a difficult profession. In comedy most jokes are at someone’s expense. Whether it’s Hardy bullying Laurel, Jerry dropping a bowling ball on Tom’s head, or me making a jibe about The Glitterknickers family or indeed my weight, the laugh comes at a cost to someone or something.” – John Heald
“Most of our Punchliner headliners will also tell you that if a joke is funny enough, people often forget their right to take offense. Look, the adult comedy shows are uncensored – if you are in any doubt please don’t go, it really is that simple,” Heald continued. “If you don’t like a joke a comedian says on one of our stages please don’t demand that someone be fired. Just accept it. And then go and do something instead that brings you happiness and joy.”
The post got the attention of Heald’s followers who supported everything he had to say regarding the passenger upset by the content of the comedy.
